King Saud University Woman’s Campus – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
A $2.5 billion addition to King Saud University built to accommodate over 30,000 students. The project yielded an academic complex consisting of 34 major buildings, 479 laboratories, expanded campus infrastructure, roads, parking, and site utilities. The President of Almass, Inc., Mr. Sam Khedraki, directed the project’s architectural and structural scope, MEP design review and modification, shop drawings review, improvement of life & safety design, and QA/QC services.
Sam played a pivotal leadership role and contributed to the development and implementation of the BMS system, as well as the sequence of operations for the central district cooling and heating plant that consisted of 5 water cooled chillers and 23 air cooled chillers with a combined cooling capacity of 20,000 tons.
